Ganesha- God of Gods

The first God

Son of lord of lords

Teaches us to live life

Big ears to listen the needful

Big eyes only to see the beauty of nature

The trunks signifies to speak less

His ride mushak to mark that everything has a significance, be it small or big

His naughtiness to show that some things need to be solved with fun and frolic

And kind enough to help everyone

What only a God could do.

Jai Ganesh..

Book Review – The Dragnet by Bhaskar Kathuria

The Dragnet begins on an intriguing note. It’s all about Alexis’s story, who is a womaniser. He’s a book store owner. I loved the way how things & events are described in the book.

His meeting with the unknown yet familiar girl is mysterious. He reaches to her place and meets her grandma. Their discussion about books is intriguing.

The description depicted in the book is beautiful. The emotions, scenery is beautifully depicted and the story goes on a very minimal and slow pace. Though, no breaks makes it a little difficult to understand, yet it’s a beautiful read.

Good job, author.

Book Review : Long Short Stories by Chetan Soni

The collection of stories in this book are apt according to the title of the book. Certainly, life is long story, and the author is put in many such instances from the real life.

As it’s said in the book “life is anything but a desire” and I felt it was clearly proven in every story in the book. Not everything in our life happens as we desire.

Life isn’t a smooth ride, it depends on us as how we drive our life and make it worthy. The stories in this book are all heart touching and realistic.

Thank you to the author for bringing such stories to the notice of the readers. It takes less than one hour to be read. The language of the book is simple yet it keeps the reader hooked to the story.

Book Review : Neverfound Land by Durriya Kapasi

Neverfound Land by Durriya Kapasi is an intriguing read. It’s beautiful escape from the real world, when you find troubles, even in the Genie land. Strange, but True.

Moreover, the main protagonist of the story, Solomon emerged as a strong and powerful being. Though, brought up as a normal human being, he emerged into a responsible heir to Khalil, the king of genie land.

Yeah, a new and fantasized concept, yet much intriguing. The way he adapted his genie powers, and the way he saved Darren, his father. You might not believe on fantasies, but this is worth the time.

A perfect blend of emotions, love, action, and fanstasy. Thank you to the author, for giving such a beautiful story.

Book Review : Wildcard2 by Asfiya Rahman

The book WILDCARD 2, authored by Asfiya Rahman, is another tale of hardwork, trust and hope.

Tahira Rizvi, an avid tennis player, who helped Karan, live his dream of going into Wimbledon, was still dreaming about a career in Tennis. Going into the Wimbledon along with Karan, was a dream come true for her. She had found a friend in Vikram and a little friend in Roshni. Things pulled apart, when after returning from the Wimbledon, her parents asked her to quit tennis. She was shocked. Her parents asked her to quit what she loved. She was broken, yet she convinced them to let her give one chance.

Karan Mehrotra, a tennis champion, was all on toes for his daughter, Roshni. He was astonished when Tahira asked him to be her coach and wanted to practice with him. He was elated for what she had done for him, for getting the Wimbledon title, and so he agreed.

Here begins a journey, that of, hardwork, trust, and hope, that there hardwork would materialize. Tahira did her best and she couldn’t have a bettet coach than Karan. But, her hopes died, when she lost a simple tournament that led her to quit tennis. Karan wanted her to continue, but he could not force her. But things changed when Karan was invited to play for a hospital and tahira agreed to help him.

As a matter of fact, the card turned around when karan was invited for wimbledon as he was last year champion. A light paved his path and he planned to get tahira a wild card. Luck being on their side, they got the wild card, and tahira was happy. She wanted to showcase her talent and wanted to make Karan proud.

All the ups and downs, karan and tahira faced, are beautifully described in the book. The emotions were well written and felt. Felt connected with the character of Tahira

A must read for everyone. 🙂
